Lisa Zomer is a makeup artist and hair stylist with over twenty five years of experience in the world of film and television.

Originally trained as a photographer, her degree in applied arts with an emphasis on commercial portraiture has informed her entire career. Studying light has taught her to observe and find what it is she needs to bring out the best in painting her subjects.

Hailing from Michigan, she combines small town mid-western work ethics and kindness with big city hustle and enterprise. Lisa believes that beauty can be found anywhere and her biggest success is making the people she works with feel good about themselves. She loves sharing what she knows and continuously learning through classes, reading, and picking the brains of anyone who will collaborate. She is confident in working alone but also enjoys creating teams with skills that compliment each other and the camaraderie that comes from working towards a shared goal.

Lisa’s subjects range from private clients to Oscar winning celebrities to Presidents. Her professionalism makes her a good choice in sensitive situations and her sense of humor and charm can put even the most nervous of clients at ease. Her clients are loyal for a reason, she makes sure she understands their needs and strives to meet, exceed, and deliver their requests. Lisa understands that her job is more than just makeup, rather it is preparing her subjects for their performances and putting them at ease is the first step in creating their on camera personas. Applying makeup is the last step and she revels in the entire process.
